Migraine or Headache
This is for you if:
You have a history of migraines or headaches diagnosed with your PCP or specialist.
You need a refill for an acute migraine, such as a triptan, prescription-strength NSAID, CGRP antagonists, and/or anti-nausea medication. See below for important parameters.*
Or you need a refill on a migraine prophylaxis agent, such as propranolol, topiramate, Aimovig, Emgality, Nurtec.
You haven’t had any recent falls or head injury.
You wouldn’t describe your symptoms as “the worse headache of my life,” which warrants an ED visit.
You’re not pregnant.
Additionally, you’d like to incorporate an integrative approach to manage and reduce migraines or headaches.
You will need:
A recent home blood pressure reading done within the last month.
Please have ready:
Photo of your driver’s license/ID card - front only.
Photos of your health insurance card - front and back.
Your pharmacy information.
Your list of meds and supplements.
If you suffer from chronic or frequent migraines or headaches, it’s recommended to schedule through The Foundations Edit for a more comprehensive evaluation of your health.

*For NSAIDs, it’s important that you don’t have conditions that can be made worse with NSAIDs, such as a history of kidney or heart disease, gastritis, stomach ulcers, or gastrointestinal bleeding, uncontrolled high blood pressure, asthma, or taking blood thinners.
For CGRP receptor antagonists (Ubrelvy, Nurtec, etc), it’s important that you don’t have severe liver or kidney disease or take other meds that inhibit CYP3A4 or consume any grapefruit.
These categories of meds will NOT be prescribed: Controlled pain medications, benzodiazepines, muscle relaxers, Botox, IV therapies, or barbituates (butalbitol).
Please note that Quick Care services are for uncomplicated, simple, acute conditions and mild to moderate flare-ups of chronic conditions. “Acute” means the illness or condition is expected to be temporary or self-limited with treatment and/or supportive measures.
The cost of medications is determined by your pharmacy.
Quick care does not include the advanced testing and Precision Health services rendered through the Health Edits. Please schedule a separate Health Edit if you would like a comprehensive health evaluation and management of chronic medical conditions and proactive care management.
