Say goodbye to the one-size-fits-all approach.

You won't find this level of personalized medicine at your regular doctor's office.

Conventional medicine isn’t enough.

Neither is functional medicine.

Nor Integrative Medicine.

They’re all awesome, but…

They needed another element.

And that’s precision medicine.

Together, combined, is a powerful GAME-CHANGER called Precision Health.

Maybe you’ve seen your primary doc and every specialist, tried various prescriptions, over-the-counter and DYI treatments, or have a cabinet full of supplements that you’re not even sure if they work or remember why you bought them.

You’ve been told, “your labs look fine.” The “million-dollar workup” revealed notta. “Everything looks normal. There’s nothing there. We don’t know what’s going on.” Although it’s not the doctor’s intention, but maybe you feel a little gas-lit!

You’ve tried every diet but generally eat healthy-ish, try to get some exercise, try to meditate and “do all the things.” Maybe you follow the advice of some biohackers on social. You even tried that thing some influencer recommended. 🫠

But you still feel like sh*t. Nobody can pinpoint why, yet your gut tells you there’s something off.

You know what? You’re probably on the right track; you just need some further investigation, guidance, and someone to put the puzzle pieces together.

The Doctor’s Edit is here to help you to dig deeper and connect the dots with your AI-powered genomic analysis and advanced testing to audit, analyze, and reveal the personal “edits” needed in your life to “turn on the good genes” and “turn off the bad ones”.

Or… maybe you feel fantastic! 🎉 You’re doing well in all of the departments and you want to make sure you’re doing everything you can to prevent the things your parents and grandparents suffer(ed) from. You want to stay on top of your health and optimize your healthspan. You’re into the idea of getting genomic analysis and periodic advanced testing to make sure you’re staying on track. And maybe you just have some minor health things that you want to figure out.

The Doctor’s Edit will help you stay on top of preventative health with advanced testing and enhanced screenings to augment your regular preventative screenings.

About the Doctor

Meet Dr. Sharon Ng, a board-certified physician and an Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) certified medical doctor. She is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Doctor’s Edit , an advanced preventative and precision health practice.

In her own health pursuits, Dr. Ng entered medicine specifically to practice a root-cause, integrative approach to reversing the reversible and preventing the preventable diseases. However, in her words, “While I’m grateful that I’ve been able to help people more effectively using the functional and integrative medicine approach, it's still not enough. There’s still a lot of trial-and-error involved with treating chronic conditions, just like with conventional medicine. After all, conventional medicine is the foundation for practicing functional and integrative medicine. We need to lessen the guesswork and leverage the power of AI and precision medicine. We also need it to help put screening and prevention on steroids. The prevalence and incidence of preventable, chronic disease and cancer are still rising.” Dr. Ng is always on the lookout for cutting-edge technologies that she can bring to her patients.

“The future of medicine is here and it’s only going to get better. This is just your introduction to precision medicine. One day soon, precision medicine is going to be the norm and expected from every patient.”

Dr. Ng graduated with Honors from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Tower Health Reading Hospital in PA, one of the top 1% of hospitals in America.

She developed The Doctor’s Edit after experiencing the shortcomings of practicing in corporate and insurance-driven medicine, where the quantity of patient care supersedes the quality of care, and where “trying to practice real preventative and root-cause medicine, and thrive doing so, is pretty much impossible.” In her experience, “Whole, personalized care requires time. It’s not a scaleable or mass-producible approach without resorting to band-aid medicine or being encouraged to use cookie-cutter treatments just to survive the volume and complexity of patients pushed onto you. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of trying to be personalized?”

“My focus is on quality, not on quantity, proactive medicine, not just reactive medicine, optimizing healthspan, not merely prolonging poor quality lifespan, and reversing or at least slowing biological aging, the #1 risk factor for disease.” She adds, “Health care is also not something practiced by just professionals. It’s practiced by everybody. Self-care is the original health care. The medical system was designed for disease care. You know it’s true!”

“The advantage of The Doctors Edit is that you get the best of conventional, root-cause, and precision medicine all rolled into one. I call it Precision Health.”

Dr. Ng believes that continual investment in self-care, personal development, and lifelong learning are the keys to a healthy and abundant life. Her practice embraces 3 philosophies:

  1. Oubaitori - The art of non-comparison. Like the flowering cherry, apricot, plum, and peach trees in Japan, every person blooms on their own timeline. “It’s a reminder to let go of comparison culture and just do you.”

  2. Kintsugi - The art of golden repair. Broken pottery mended by gold is more special, more beautiful, and stronger than before. “The same way people can recover, heal, and grow stronger from adversity, big or small. Your scars and flaws are a part of your strength, your resiliency, and make you who you are.”

  3. Wabi Sabi - The art of embracing imperfection as perfection. “If you can love the imperfect people around you, you can love your imperfect self too. Precision health isn’t about being perfect or precise, it’s about being precisely and authentically you.”

“The Doctor’s Edit is also where I curate and share things I love, things I personally use, and things that I would recommend to my family and friends.

I only want the best in the industry.”

- Sharon Ng, MD, DABFM
